This class was a highlight for us in travelling through Tuscany. We are so grateful we get to keep the recipes for Sunday cook ups at home when back in Australia. We loved the stories told through the preparation of the food. Highly recommended.Posted on Google Susan JackTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. In the land of delicious pasta, we were thrilled to discover that Dario at Borgo Poneta offered a GLUTEN-FREE cooking class! We arrived shortly before 11:00 AM and were quickly immersed in making gnocchi and chicken cacciatore, salad and the most amazing banana gelato. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our time with Dario, learning great tips for cooking and of course, sitting and enjoying a lunch-time meal together and several bottles of wine (and olive oil) all locally produced. The views from Borgo Poneta of San Gimignano are also spectacular. This was certainly a highlight of our trip.Posted on Google Vilte BalciunaiteTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Cooking class with Vittoria has been one of the highlights of the Italy trip for me and my partner. The location and the atmosphere combined with quality class, great teacher and beautiful food meant that we enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. We made bruschetta, 2 types of pasta and banana gelato, which is a brilliant value for money. Vittoria was super knowledgeable, with a great cooking philosophy and we both left feeling inspired! Highly recommend this to anyones seeking for an authentic experience.Posted on Google Akash BalaniTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wonderful experience. Wonderful pasta and gelato cooking class. Dario was a patient but firm instructor. We made gnocchi, pici (a hand rolled pasta about 2/3 the size of a pencil), pesto, a tomato sauce, and banana gelato. Then we ate what we made with pretty much all the wine we wanted.Posted on Google Courtney PetersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a wonderful experience! We participated in the Gluten Free class. As a family of 4 with 3 coeliacs it is rare to come across a gluten free cooking class. They had separate boards, bowls etc to ensure no cross-contamination. Dario was sensational! We learnt a lot about cooking through his expertise, and the meals created were absolutely delicious! We would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to try cooking the authentic Italian way.Posted on Google Colleen SchomakerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This cooking class was a simply wonderful experience. Our chef/teacher was Dario, and he was a joy to spend several hours with. We made gnocchi with fresh pesto sauce, pici pasta that he patiently taught us how to roll. We chopped tomatoes and garlic for bruschetta and made a delicious red sauce for our pici. The banana gelato at the end was a perfect dessert. Four of us highly recommend this class. I promise it will make your visit to Tuscany very special.Posted on Google Matt BackTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a wonderful day with Dario; he made the class so much fun and inclusive. He made it so easy, and he inspired confidence in all of us to be able to do this at home. The taste of the food was everything we hoped for and will take home with us.
